If you have ever seen or owned a traditional sheepskin coat or sheepskin jacket or sheepskin gilet, please be aware that our shearling coats have very little similarity to them. Sheepskin coats are made from old sheep whose hides are very stiff and have coarse hair that become matted incredibly quickly. Designer Italy's coats actually become even more comfortable the more you wear, as they become even softer and mould to your bodyshape without excessive stretching.
